Three volumes of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2nd edition, 7th impression, 1973); The Two Towers (2nd edition, 7th impression, 1973); The Return of the King (2nd edition, 8th impression, 1974). None of the volumes has a dustjacket. Intact map at the rear of each volume. Red cloth boards with gilt titling to the spine. Very slight rubbing to the corners of each volume. The Fellowship of the Ring and The Return of the King each has a slight lean, and some very minor marks to boards and page edges. The Two Towers appears to have suffered from damp and maybe the imposition of a heavy weight at the back of the book, resulting in heavy marking and creasing of the back board, and about the last 100 pages being damp affected (but no staining of the text block, only the upper page edges). Overall, The Fellowship of the Ring and The Return of the King are in very good condition, The Two Towers is in fair condition.
