The Secret Fiord [1954, Reprint]

£17.99

Product description

1954 reprint published by Macmillan & Co. First published in 1949. Colour frontispiece by H M Brock. Yellow boards with indented illustration, maroon-dyed top edge to text block.

The author, (Robert) Geoffrey Trease (1909 – 1998) was a prolific British writer who published 113 books, mainly historical fiction for children, between 1934 and 1997.

This novel is set in Norway and in England where Roger is hoping to become apprenticed to a stone mason. Then Roger learns of his father's probable death and his adventures begin.

Some rubbing wear to the cover and discolouration to the spine, which is slightly skewed. Still in a clean condition with a sound binding.
