This hardcover book is in very good condition overall. The cover has gilding throughout, with a title on the spine as well as decoration on both the front and back cover. The cover of the book appears to be without major issue, though there is some minor markings in some places, as well as some very minor wear to some corners. Inside, the pages of the book all have a gilded edge to go along with the gilding on the cover. The pages of the book appear to be without issue, and certainly are without any issue that would impact enjoyment of the book. This book appears to have been published by the Oxford University Press in 1983.

The Trial is a novel written by Franz Kafka, originally published in 1925. One of his best known works, it tells the story of a man arrested and prosecuted by a remote, inaccessible authority, with the nature of his crime revealed neither to him nor the reader.
