The Empress Last Voyage: The empress is the finest, grandest ship of the Gold Star Line fleet. But she is getting old and has stood idle for years, and financial pressures at last induce the German owner to send her off in secret to Taiwan to be scrapped. What can Chief engineer Windger do to save her from her sad fate? Hardback, 189 pages. The dustcover is intact, however there are dents to front and back covers. Signed.
Place of Presence: Windger had just about had his fill of the Department, always calling him up at the most inopportune moments. requesting his assistance on some case or other. But his work was his life, traipsing around making the world safe for democracy, beating up on bad guys, and just in general, having a rollicking good time. A humorous spy novel. Hardback, 248 pages. The book is in excellent condition and the dustcover is intact. Minor mark to back of dustcover. Signed.
