Vintage 1960s recipe book '500 recipes For Cakes And Pastries'

£9.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

'Can you bake a cake? If you can, here are 500 exciting ideas to widen your repertoire. if you can't, read Catherine Kirkpatrick's easy-to-follow guide at the beginning of this book, then choose your recipe, and you will be surprised at how easy it is.'

This vintage recipe book from 1963 has clearly been well-used and appreciated over the years. It is both a valuable source of recipes and a snapshot into the culinary lives of 1960s cooks, including classic recipes such as meringues, simnel cake and Sally Lunn buns, as well as cakes for special events, pastry recipes, biscuit recipes and suggestions for cake decoration.

Pages and spine are intact with no tears or cracks, although the corners of some pages are curled and the inside front cover is stained (definitely a well-used kitchen book!).
