A History of the Church in England

£8.99

Product description

Originally published in 1953, this is a comprehensive single volume history of the Christian Church in England from Roman and Anglo-Saxon times until the 20th Century. The author, Dr. J. R. H. Moorman, Lord Bishop of Ripon, covers all aspects of church life and belief including architecture, and forms of public worship. This hardback edition still has its dust cover which is somewhat grubby and worn, with small tears at the edges. The boards and binding are sound. Apart from an inscription on the frontispiece the pages are clean though slightly age-discoloured.
