A short history of St George's Hospital & the origins of its ward names

£100.00 Out Of Stock

Product description

When the original building opened in 1733, its wards were named after benefactors. As the sources of funding changed, it was felt more appropriate to commemorate doctors and others who had made significant contributions to the hospital, and to medicine.

This is a very good copy, with some shelf marking on the back of the dust jacket, very small tear to the front edge of dust jacket, otherwise very clean spotless copy throughout.
