An Intellectual and Cultural History of the Western World Volumes 1, 2 and 3

£35.99

Product description

What a fantastic Book, in 3 volumes , they wouldn't allow it today, because it wasn't written in an English church yard, it is secular, and close enough to the truth, you can get, You either write History, or you write propaganda. Harry Elmer Barnes, was a student of James Harvey Robinson, at Columbia University, and Robinson founded the New School for social Research in New York, known today as The New School, Robinson also setup the education structure for our high schools, as we know them today, he wrote the book called The New History, very interesting book. This History book covers the beginning of time till about 1965, and it is not the history of Wars, but of culture and intellect. To me the New School, should bring this book back. What got me in college, was when I engaged with a textbook such as these three. The book takes time to read, but well worth it.
