The book is in very good condition. The binding is sound. Minimal bumping to the jacket and covers. A little tanning and foxing to the top edges. The contents are clean and unmarked.
This work tells the story of a school and a very unusual one, the Red Maids' School at Bristol. Founded 350 years ago by a local merchant and with detailed records of its long history, its story is that of the education of girls throughout the past four centuries.
