It is a fact that, even before he died, men and children had come to pronounce his name with reverence. It had become a synonym for holy living.So wrote Andrew Thomson about Thomas Boston (1676-1732). Boston was an eminent Scottish divine and prolific theological writer. Ordained to the ministry of Church of Scotland, he served two congregations, first in the parish of Simprin (1699-1707), then in the parish of Ettrick (1707-1732).
