V. There is no reliable evidence for any Darius the mede
VI. Darius the mede is a conflation of confused traditions

The four world empires is made up of 4 parts:
I. The first kingdom is the neo-babylonian
II. The fourth kingdon is the Greek
III. The second and third kingdons are the median and the persian respectively
IV. The interpretations that find four kings, instead of kingdoms, are unsatisfactory.
