Publisher: Readers Union by arrangement Routledge & Kegan Paul, London, 1965. Hardback with dustjacket, 233 pages, 27 illustrations in b&w. Cover, in blue boards with gilt titling to spine, is in good, sound and clean condition with just a trace of bumping to spine extremities. Internally the book is in very good to excellent, clean and tight condition with no inscriptions, marks, creases or tears. Text pages and illustrations are clean, bright and fresh. The dustwrapper, which is not clipped, is in sound condition with some fading / tanning to spine and some light chipping to spine extremities and at bottom edge of front. A little tanning to front flap fold and to top edge of front and back flap. Overall, a very good copy in a presentable dustjacket. An interesting and scholarly study with 27 fascinating b&w illustrations
