With a preface signed by the writer Paulo Coelho and the presentation of the journalist and writer Nelson Motta, This tal from Bossa Nova brings together stories of Brazilian music told by Roberto Menescal, one of the creators of Bossa Nova.

The book is divided into two moments, the first dedicated to the Bossa Nova stories, and the second is the MPB stories Menescal lived during his time as Artistic Director of PolyGram.

The stories of Menescal bring the first encounters between those who would be the protagonists of one of the most important movements of world music, the backstage of the historic show at Carnegie Hall and the impact of that night on the lives of those involved with the movement.

This event changed the direction of the musical genre that had been born years earlier in the shyness of the apartment of Nara Leao, muse of Bossa Nova. Maysa, Astor Piazzola, Roberto Carlos, Dorival Caymmi and Villa Lobos are some of the characters in these stories.

This book is in excellent condition throughout.
