Everyone's Story of Britain

£17.99

Product description

The book has red cloth-covered boards and spine with the book title and publisher's name in gilt script on the spine. The book shows little bumping to the corners and only minimal shelf wear, primarily at the spine. The hinges are in good condition and the pages are tightly bound to the spine. On the front fixed endpaper there is a sticker from a bookseller, A G Williams. The pages are well-cut with little discolouration. The book contains copious amounts of illustration with black and white paintings of historical scenes and, in later years, black and white photographs of the scenes. The dust jacket depicts a colour painting of a British soldier during the 18th century over a series of black and white square drawings of famous historical figures. The jacket has been price clipped. It also has various tears and folds along its edges, especially along the top and bottom edges.
