Exploit and Deny - 100 Years of Electronic Warfare in Air Operations

£55.00

Product description

This book looks at the development and deployment of electronic warfare systems in support of air operations.  Beginning with a look at wireless exploitation in the First World War, intercepting German wireless transmissions and decrypting messages, it continues with the development of radar during the interwar period, before going on to detail the role of No 100 Group in the British bombing offensive during World War 2.  It continues with to look at developments over the Cold War, such as the growing threat of Surface-to-Air Missiles, the advances in maritime reconnaissance and the growing calls for stealth technology.  It also looks at how these technologies were used in recent conflicts, such as the Falklands War, Kuwait, the Balkans, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.  The book includes a number of photographs, some in black in white while others are in full colour.  The book is in good condition, with the minor signs of wear and tear limited to the dust jacket.  Internally the pages are clean, the binding strong and the illustrations clear.
