Thrilling and well illustrated account of the first overland journey ever made from London to Singapore by one of the young men who did it. A team of 6 from Cambridge and Oxford, set out in two Land-Rovers, driving 32000 miles over tarmac, desert, mountain snows, swamp and jungle (including through the long unused wartime Stilwell Road. Fascinating reading. The cover and contents are in good, clean, firm and bright condition. The unclipped dustjacket is in fair condition with some shelfwear, a one inch tear at bottom of front and bottom of spine and a little chipping to top edge.
