I this book an attempt is made to reconstruct the diet of the prehistoric Therans, primarily through the remains of foodstuffs found in the ruins at Akrotiri, but also indirectly from the depictions of plants and animals in vase-painting and wall paintings.The ways in which the inhabitants of the prehistoric city prepared and consumed their food and drink are sought through the various related constructions, cooking vessels and tableware. 65 pp including 59 plates in colour. The lower edge of the front cover is lightly rubbed and the lower cut edge slightly scuffed. Apart from a small pen mark inside the front cover the pages and text are very clean. May incur higher postal rate.
