Product description

This text is aimed at students and anyone interested in the history of life on our planet. The book s coverage includes geography, climate, atmosphere, ocean, and land (a changing stage) while following interplay between organisms. Also new to this edition is a dedicated website which explores additional environmental factors and supplemental topics, and provides interactive exercises, a detailed glossary, key links and all art in downloadable form. The art is also available to instructors on CD-ROM in PowerPoint and Jpeg formats. An Instructor manual CD-ROM for this title is available. Please contact our Higher Education team at HigherEducation@wiley.com for more information.

Wonder how this unique item ended up online?

Most of the second-hand items you see online have been donated, by supporters like you, to our high street stores. Each item is then priced, photographed and listed on this site by our amazing team of volunteers from across the country.

After you have bought your item, our team of volunteers package and dispatch it from the Shop straight to you or your chosen recipient.

All profits from the sales of our goods go towards funding Oxfam's work around the world. We rely on your donations to sell online so please keep the cycle of goodness going!

Oxfam Shop Market Harborough

Situated in the heart of the historic market town, opposite the 17th century Old Grammar School, visitors to Oxfam in Market Harborough will find a warm welcome in our small but well stocked shop. We sell all the main categories of donated goods with a particular emphasis on quality clothing and accessories. Also on offer is a selection of vinyl that provides a taster for the more extensive range we offer via the online shop. In addition we sell books, toys and homewares plus much much more. We also sell an extensive range of Fair Trade gifts, jewellery and food, plus environmentally-friendly products.

Could you help us by collecting donations from donors homes? Our shop receives many offers of generous donations that we have to turn down as we do not have volunteers able to collect. We would ask you to collect in your own car, at your convenience and reimburse your petrol costs. It might be a couple of times a month and would make a really big difference to our ability to make money.
