Good condition for a second-hand book: moderate wear to dust-jacket with creasing to edges and chips to spine and flap fold ends, 2cm closed tear to spine, 5cm closed tear to jacket front/spine fold, jacket tanned, mainly reverse and spine, rubbing to spine; hardcover binding damp-stained, light bumping to hardcover corners, light bowing to front cover along fore edge, light bumping to rear cover along top and bottom edges, light slanting/twisting to spine; cracking to front and rear hinges, 5.5cm closed tear and creasing to top edge of rear free endpaper, crease to page 9/10 top corner; light foxing to pages edges and endpapers, inscription to front free endpaper, newspaper cuttings affixed to rear endpapers, light soiling to page 107 fore edge, otherwise internally fine given age of book.
