This was an in-house magazine produced by the firm of S. Redmayne, tailors and clothes manufacturers of Wigton in present day Cumbria.
They contain short articles, anecdotes, poems etc. all about the people, animals and places of Cumberland and Westmorland as was. With numerous b/w photos and drawings.
These are bound copies of twelve issues, as follows: no. 25, Autumn-Winter 1962; no. 26, Spring 1963; no. 27, Summer 1963; no. 28, Autumn 1963; no. 29, Winter 1963; no. 30, Spring 1964; no. 31, Summer 1964; no. 32, Summer 1964; no. 33, Spring 1965; no. 34, Summer 1965; no. 35, 1965; no. 36, 1966.
These later issues contain a lot more adverts re. clothes, tailoring etc., than earlier issues. Also more about the firm of Redmaynes and their employees, so may be of interest to former workers and inhabitants of Wigton.
