Kirton-in-Lindsey: A Further Photographic History

£14.99

Product description

Between 1988 and 1989 the Kirton-in-Lindsey Class of Scunthorpe WEA produced 2 books of local photographs with commentary. This second book was published in 1989, and gives the reader a greater insight into the lives of the townspeople, both in and outside of work. From a wedding party of the 1890s to the Methodists' production of Hiawatha in the 1940s, this book shows the diverse and eclectic history of the people of Kirton-in-Lindsey.

In very good condition, with only a few signs of shelf wear to the cover, all text is clear and the bold b/w photographs enhance the fascinating historical information.
