Lawrence of Arabia, Zionism and Palestine

£6.99

Product description

Sir Ronald Storrs was one of Lawrence's closest friends, and this personal sketch, written in 1937 has already become a classic. Of the chapters on Palestine which follow, the author himself says: 'The estimate of Zionism will on the whole be found to have stood the test of time, and is, whatever it demerits, at least so balanced that each of the parties involved continues to accuse me of favouring the other.

The contents of this book were originally published in 'Orientations' in 1937. This selection was first published in 1940 and is re-printed in 1941 and brought up to date with a postscript covering events down to March 1940.

Paperback booklet (96 pages). The cover is slightly stained and has a number of tears. The pages are yellowed and there is a little damage to one or two, but the text and photographs are clear.
