Let cowards flinch

£9.99

Product description

Written in a verse / poetic style. Illustrations and caricatures by Victor Weisz. The author is noted as Sagittarius but this is a pseudonym of Olga Miller.

This copy is in a well-used condition, but still has lovely a charm about it. Unlike many copies, this item, has its dust jacket, which is unclipped. There is a tear on the front cover of the dust jacket measuring approximately 18 cm, but this has been taped to hold it stable. Please see the photos. Each corner is also taped for added protection from shelf wear. The dust jacket does show some discolouration and due to its buff nature, it has picked up some marks over time. The boards are intact, but due show age related discolouration. The inside of the front board has a letter stuck on it from the writer to the original owner, above a newspaper clipping of a newspaper extract by the author. The front free paper had an inscription from the original purchaser to the first owner of the book. The book is dated 1947, and appears to be a first edition. All the internal pages are of good condition and appear clean and bright, with a very small amount of foxing on the outer edge of some, this is only picked up in certain light and does not detract from the text or illustrations.
