Product description

Published in 1990 by Air Research Publications. Illustrated with black & white photographs. includes a number of forewords, several useful appendixes and an index.

This is a special limited edition, Number 44, signed by both the authors, as well as 6 different pilots and aircrew involved in the Second World World War, both Allied & Luftwaffe crew. These military figures also helped in the research for the book and have contributed to the foreword and introduction.

In 1943 a revolutionary new aircraft became available to Hitler's Luftwaffe. It was so far in advance of any other warplane that it could have ruled the skies, stopped the devastating Allied bombing raids and even prevented the invasion of Europe. The aircraft was the Messerscmitt Me262 - the world's first fully operational jet fighter.

Complete with dust jacket, which has been price-clipped, and has a little wear at the top of the spine and 1 or 2 creases and marks. The boards are bright and clean, as are the pages. A sound and tight binding.
