Old Euston An Account of the Beginning of the London and Birmingham Railway and the Building of Euston Station

£50.00 Out Of Stock

Product description

EXTRA RELEVANT DOCUMENTS INCLUDED: This hardcover book is in very good condition. It has a gilded title on both the spine and front cover, and has the original dust jacket included. The cover itself is in good condition, but it does have a few minor issues, such as a slight indentation on the spine and the corners being slightly folded and frayed. The dust jacket is in worse condition, and has been torn in many places. One tear in particular extends 7 inches vertically up the front cover and there are others on the both the front and back. Also, the original price of the book has not been clipped. Internally, the pages of the book are in good condition, and going through the book reveals there are a few pages that have very minor markings on them. All of the illustrations in the book are in very good condition, and appear to have no issues with them. As noted above, there is extra documentation included in this book. These 3 booklets all cover an event which was called 'Banquet to Commemorate The Centenary of the London & Birmingham Railway, 14th November, 1938'. One booklet is a guest list for the banquet, another lists the menu, toasts and music programme, and the final booklet is a timetable for the event.
