Witney is Oxfordshire has been famous for its woollen blankets since the Middle Ages. At one time there were five blanket factories in the town, the last of these to close was Early's. Early's being originally established in 1669, and became renowned for their point blankets which were traded with Native Americans in the 18th & 19th centuries.
In very good clean condition, slightly bumped corners to the cover.
