Series of Classical Chinese Culture Season 5: Tragic Hero / Guiguzi (Chinese Edition)

£14.99

Product description

This book, written in Chinese, contains two pieces of Chinese writing. The first is 'Tragic Hero' which tells of Xiang Yu, a warlord who lived from 232-202 BC. It tells of his strategies and life until his defeat and death at the Battle of Gaixia against Liu Bang, founder of the Chinese Han dynasty. The second piece is an annotation of 'Guiguzi'; compiled during the Late Warring States Period (250-221 BC), it is a collection of writings discussing political lobbying based on Daoist thinking.

The book is in fair condition; the cover has minor bowing and creases on the front and back covers, along with minor creasing on the spine. But the cover is in one piece. Internally, the book is also in good condition; there are some notes written in black pen within the book but these do not cover over any of the text. The books binding is strong and there are no loose pages.
