Suomen historia - History of Finland

£9.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 2006 julkaistu kirja on päivitetty uudella luvulla johdattamaan vuoden 2014 tapahtumiin saakka. Suomi täyttää sata vuotta.

Erinomainen pyöreä kunto + alleviivaus kahdella ensimmäisellä sivulla.

Everyone sees history in their own way in the light of their own knowledge and experience. Finland's history is based on the most important studies of the next few decades and is thus a contemporary interpretation of our country's history. Henrik Meinander tells us intimately and fascinatingly about our journey from the Ice Age through the Viking and Crusade Times to the Great Power of Sweden, the Grand Duchy of Finland and ultimately the independence and the EU membership. The agrarian society rises over time as a leading information society - which collapses with Nokia. Meinander analyzes in his book Finland's transformation into a separate nation, in a continuous interaction with the surrounding world. She pays special attention to Finland's natural resources, culture and technical readiness as part of our country's development. After all, many of the turning points of history have been the result of random event chains. The book, first published in 2006, has been upgraded to a new chapter until the events of 2014.

Excellent all round condition + underlining on first two pages.
