Take These Men

£15.00

Product description

Fictional account of the WW2 desert campaign based on the experiences of its author who was a tank commander in the 7th Armoured Division (the Desert Rats). The main incidents are factual and "the minor actions, the tank battles, the many pictures I have tried to paint of life in the desert, are based on fact, knowledge and experience."
Contains two fold out maps both of which are intact and unmarked.
Externally the dust jacket is marked and torn at either side of the spine (top) and on some corners. There is a gift aid sticker to the rear cover. However, the book itself is sound and in good condition. There is some foxing to the page edges and a section to the rear appears darker on all edges. This does not extend onto the pages. One page has a small tear. There are initials and a date written in pen on the inside front cover.
