The British in Malaya 1880-1941

£85.00 Out Of Stock

Product description

This is a study of colonial Malaya and the way in which European values and social structures affected the relations between the British and the Malaysian population. The book was written by John G. Butcher, who was a Senior Teaching Fellow at the School of Modern Asian Studies in Griffith University, Brisbane. Condition: the book's dust-jacket shows some mild to moderate discolouration, corner-bumping, marking, and denting. The cloth boards also show some mild to moderate marking, denting, shelf-wear, and corner-bumping. The book's edges and early interior pages are tarnished with some moderate staining; however, the interior pages are generally crisp and clean. The sewn binding is strong.
