The Campaigns of Napoleon - first UK edition

£40.00

Product description

What appears to be a first edition of this large book published to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. It includes many maps and engravings.
It forms part of a donation of sample copies from the publisher's library.
The hardback cover is worn but sound. The binding is in good condition except that it falls open between two of the reference pages. The pages, including a fold out map, are overall clean and unmarked. However, tracing paper has been stuck over two maps which has stained the pages. We have not attempted to remove this. There is a reference number and the publisher's library stamp on the front endpaper.
First published in the UK in 1966.
