This is book 214 of 1000 of a limited edition published by the Beaumont Press, and signed by the author. Published in 1986.

Very good condition hardback on brown boards with gilt titles to the spine. The book contains a number of photographs, both black and white and full colour, as well as a map to the front pastedown and free endpapers, and a family tree to the rear pastedown and free endpaper. The book is complete with original dustjacket which is in very good condition also, only just starting to show signs of shelfwear to the corners.

Synopsis from the dustjacket: "In 1852 John Fullerton Cleland arrived in South Australia with his young wife, Elizabeth, and two infant sons, to make their new life in the recently established city of Adelaide. This immensely readable account tells of how the rest of their six sons and their descendants were born and raised as the colony itself grew up to statehood and into the present century."
