No ready guide exists to aid the traveller who wishes to discover some of these remote and isolated sites on the Moor, and in addition each site is here looked at in the light of recent interpretations from the fields of archaeology and Earth Mysteries.

There are over 50 photographs and drawings of the sites, together with location maps for each area, and evocative artwork and headings from Andy Norfolk. 6 or 8 figure map references are given for every site. It is hoped that this guide will help you find and care for these lovely place. "
