The Passing of the Hapsburg Monarchy 1914-1918

£30.00

Product description

Two volume set, written by Arthur J. May, First Edition 1966, in which the author penetrates the sombre theme of a Great Power in its death throes - in depth. The book is the sequel to his 'Hapsburg Monarchy 1867-1914', which first appeared in 1951.

Hardbacks, blue cloth boards in good condition, though both spines (with silver-gilt lettering) are very faded. Interiors are clean, bindings firm, though there is a pasting fault to the inside of both boards of volume 1. Black slipcase for the two volumes is sound, but the printed label is very grubby.
