The Religious Census of 1851, a Calendar of the Returns Relating to Wales, Vol. 1 - South Wales

£10.99

Product description

This volume is a calendar of the returns made in South Wales to the Religious Census of 1851 - the only occasion in modern times when there was an official and comprehensive count of the accommodation available for, and the actual attendance at, religious worship. Condition: the dust-jacket is price-clipped, and suffers from some wear and tear around the spine, as well as some denting on the covers. The boards show some corner-bumping and marking. The book's edges are mildly stained and marked. The interior pages are crisp and clean, and the binding is strong.
