Book condition : very good, brown cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine are a bit faded, titles on upper board very clear, minor bumping to extremities, No dustwrapper, some light foxing to end papers otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book containing details of all the local Councils in Scotland from tiny Royal Burghs with only a few hundred inhabitants to large cities and also the County Councils.. Gives the names of the councillors and chief officials of each (except for Glasgow and Edinburgh where only the names of the councillors who are chairmen of committees are given. 158pp including adverts (mostly for building materials and suchlike).
