The Second Great War. Volumes seven and eight.

£9.99

Product description

The complete set of eight volumes of this series is for sale on this site, in pairs.

Undated, but covers some postwar events, so late 1940's?

Volumes seven and eight cover events from the final victory to the formation of the United Nations. Worldwide issues are addressed, not just Europe. Numerous contributors. Edited by Sir John Hammerton. Military editor Major-General Sir Charles Gwynn.

The best feature of these books is the many b/w photos, some of which, I believe, are not to be found elsewhere.

The covers are a little grubby and faded. Contents lightly browned. Occasional light creases. Complete and all legible.

Extra postage due to size and weight. Courier, signature required.
