Product description

Large format hardback, unclipped dust jacket over black cloth cover with gold lettering on spine. Original edition 2004 by Editions du Seuil, Paris, this edition 2005 translated by Martin Street, pub. Thames & Hudson Ltd London. This copy is as new, apart from the slightest bumping to the bottom spine edge of the jacket, and one minor indentation to the top board edge, which has also torn the cover very minimally and caused a faint crease to the top of the front free end paper. 273 pages of glorious colour illustrations and text by Norbert Aujoulat, the Head of France's National Centre for Prehistory, and the world's expert on the caves at Lascaux.
