In addition to the letters (of a religious tone) the volume contains a poem in praise of the author and a small pamphlet by Professor Earle on "Bath During British Independence".

Condition: Although the binding is quite intact the cover - and in particular the spine - is heavily soiled. The fly leaf bears the author's name in ink, either her signature or an inscription by the publisher. Some staining to the first few pages and back fly leaf. A review of the book has been stuck to the rear pastedown.
