Dr. Usman uses materials gathered from oral sources as well as scattered documents to paint the history of Katsina, Nigeria during the a fore mentioned years. The book also explores the emergence and overthrowing of the Sarauta System and the establishment of the Emirate.
This copy of Dr. Usmans book is bound in ultraviolet blue cloth with gold lettering on the spine. The dust jacket is worn especially on the corners, but is still in one piece. The pages themselves have infrequent and small stains on some pages- but not many, and the pages are all straight. Crisp pages and strong black lettering throughout, this book will be a brilliant read for anyone studying or having an interest in the political ans social climate in Katsina, Nigeria.
