A well bound copy of this "admirably printed and illustrated book" recounting the "antiquarian tour" of two friends in the Midlands and Oxfordshire.

Half tan leather, marbled boards; edgeworn and scuffed, some surface loss lower front. Gilt decorative spine with 5 raised bands and title label, ends scuffed. Inner hinges splitting but binding firm. Feps foxed and grubby, newspaper review tipped in to front pastedown and date (20th May 1905) in ink above. Text block slightly damp waved, a few small marks but overall clean and well preserved. viii, 278 pp; b&w illus throughout. Please note: this is a heavy book, shipping outside the UK will incur extra charge.
