As new edition in olive green morocco with gold titles to spine. Front and rear boards with tiny blemishes towards bottom (from manufacturing). Unmarked green end papers. Fine gold gilt edging to all sides of immaculate block.

Lavishly illustrated in b/w this book, by a local expert, displays his obvious love of his subject.
There were 20 extant mills in the region at the time of going to press and each has received its appropriate attention. Derelict mills have also been thoroughly researched and thus present fertile ground for the industrial archaeologist. All living specimens photographed, and drawings shown where available. There is a comprehensive narrative on all aspects of this nostalgic and emotive topic.
