Thomas Jefferson - FE

£19.99

Product description

Hitchens brings the character of Jefferson to life as a man of his time and also as a symbolic figure beyond it. Conflicted by power, Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence and acted as Minister to France yet yearned for a quieter career in the Virginia legislature.

It still has its dustjacket which is clipped at the top front but otherwise in very good condition apart from very slight damage at the top edge. The hardback cover is in very good condition. The binding is tight and the pages appear clean and unmarked. The page edges are uneven with a handcut effect. It could be unread.
