Three fearful days

£12.99

Product description

Three Fearful Days contains more than 40 eyewitness accounts by men and women who endured the 1906 earthquake and fie that destroyed a large portion of San Francisco. The accounts were drawn together by Malcolm E. Barker who has signed the book and in an introduction skilfully sets the stage for the approaching drama and then lets the survivors tell their own stories, interrupting briefly to introduce each person and, where known, to tell us what happened to that person after the event.

Originally published in soft cover as the final volume of the San Francisco Memoirs trilogy, this hardcover edition is published to mark the 100th anniversary of those tragic events.
