£17.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Published in 1940 by J M Dent.

Constance Spry's Garden Notebook, in which she discusses both gardening and flower arranging in detail. Illustrated with forty monochrome photographic plates. A delight to read, written in the author's easy to follow style. There is also a useful index.

A former owner's name and address is written on the front end paper reading: 'M Doris Collie. 1945' with an address in Caversham. A picture of a house and garden has been glued to the inside of the cover.

No dust jacket. There is some wear and light marks on the cover, foxing to the top edge, and the spine feels slightly weak. Internally the pages are in clean condition with sound binding.
