West Country Silver Spoons and their Makers, 1550-1750

£50.00

Product description

For twenty years the author has been collecting material for a book which presents West Country Silver Spoons in an entirely fresh light, discussing makers and customers as well as the spoons themselves.
Extensive biographical information, derived from many sources, places the subject in a social context certain to interest not only collectors, dealers and museums, but historians generally.

The book itself is in fine condition apart from a minor corner bump; bright and clean inside. The jacket is very good, with a few very light handling marks and slight bumping to spine ends and the front right lower corner.
