Undated, but believed first edition published circa 1932. Orange boards with black lettering and illustration. Inside there are illustrations on every page except endpapers etc.

A lovely doggy book with drawings and stories of individual named dogs of many different breeds, each with their own personality and background.

No dust jacket. Board covers are in good condition but warped and canted. Spine is faded but intact, corners bumped. Pages are of good quality paper in good condition for their age, with some light tanning and significant yellowing to the top ends. Endpapers foxed, and some evidence of erased pencil markings on fep, otherwise no inscriptions.
