This copy is in excellent condition. Dustjacket, clipped, is very good, with minor rubbing at the edges and some browning to the back cover. Some slight browning to inside cover pages. Inside pages very good, clean and unmarked. An exceptionally nice, tidy copy.
One of the series of 'Oddly' books, written by the English humorist, Paul Jennings, this book was originally published in 1951 - this copy is the fourth edition, produced in 1959. In 1949 Jennings joined The Observer, contributing a fortnightly column entitled "Oddly Enough" until 1966 when he was succeeded by Michael Frayn, who was an admirer of his work. After leaving The Observer, he continued to write until his death, mainly seeing print in Punch, The Times and the Telegraph magazine. In general his pieces take the form of whimsical ponderings; some of which are based in real life incidents,
