The Terror of St Trinian's

£13.99

Product description

Subtitled as: "Or Angela's Prince Charming". The book has black cloth-covered boards and spine. The book title and authors' and publisher's names are shown on the spine in gilt script. The coat of arms of the school are also shown in gilt on the front cover. The book has no bumping to the corners nor any shelf wear. The hinges are in good condition with the pages tightly bound to the spine. The front free endpaper shows a dedication to a previous owner written in black ink. The pages are well-cut with only a little discolouration. The book show's many of Ronald Searle's cartoon drawings of the characters in the book, principally the girl pupils from the school. The dust jacket is pink and green and shows two of Ronald Searle's cartoons on the front and back covers. The spine has faded somewhat due to storage on a bookshelf. The jacket is in reasonably good condition although it has a few tears and wear marks on the top and bottom edges. It also shows signs of foxing on the inside. The jacket appears to have been price clipped on the front flap although there is another price shown on the rear flap.
