Pharoah's Dream Book

£15.99

Product description

Oneiromancy is the practice of dream interpretation. This book is subtitled ' a complete interpretation of all dreams collected from various sources, compiled by Lady Threlfall. She adds a note 'most of these interpretations of dreams are taken from an old C18th dream book (in two volumes) now long out of print, the language merely being slightly modernised. The rest are from the compiler's experience or from experiences of others which have been told her.'
It is alphabetically organised by subject, starting with abbey and ending with zoological gardens.
The book is undated but is probably 1923. No dust jacket, the navy hard cover is scuffed and worn around the edges, with bumped corners and a small torn patch on the spine. The pages are aged browned but clean, roughly trimmed along the bottom edge.
